Dance Team Pink

Grades: 1st- 2nd GradesDance team is an opportunity for students with at least one year of dance class experience. The mission of the performance team is to provide a recreational opportunity for dance students who enjoy performing and want to be a part of a team. The performance team will have opportunities throughout the year to perform at Park District events, as well as our annual winter and spring recital. This is a year-long commitment, and all team members will attend 2 classes a week (Ballet and Jazz). Team classes will be a bridge from children’s dance and will focus on proper dance technique and performance skills in a positive, encouraging environment. Participants are expected to attend all classes and practice at home. Fee includes yearlong classes (2 a week), costumes, and a banquet. Participants will be responsible for purchasing pink Ballet shoes and tan Jazz shoes. Please email dance@pdhp.org if you are interested in the dance team and have not attended the tryout class to determine which team is appropriate for your child.
