You can browse without creating an account, and we only handle the minimum information needed for analytics, advertising, and replying to enquiries.

ToolNeighbor (the "Service") handles as little personal data as possible. Because we don't offer accounts, logins, or payments, ordinary browsing does not require us to store personally identifying information (name, email, address, etc.).
Ads are delivered by Google AdSense, which may use your visit information to personalize ads. See Google's ad policy at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Our database and hosting run on Supabase and Cloudflare Workers; each vendor maintains its own privacy policy.
Analytics logs are kept for up to 26 months and then deleted automatically. Email enquiries are deleted within 12 months after a reply is sent.
To request deletion of your visit / cookie data, or to ask about how we process information, email contact@mytoolneighbor.com. We respond in line with Illinois state law and applicable US federal law.
The Service is built to help parents and caregivers research activities; it is not designed for children to create accounts or submit personal data. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and if we learn that such information has been provided to us we will review and delete it.
If the policy changes meaningfully we update the "last updated" date at the top and note it on the home page.
