Service description

ToolNeighbor is an information directory that aggregates program listings from public and non-profit institutions in Chicago's northern suburbs. All registrations, payments, and refunds happen through the originating institution.

Accuracy of information

We re-sync data from each institution's official pages on a regular schedule, but prices, schedules, and registration deadlines can change after we sync. Always verify on the source site before committing.

User responsibilities

When you follow a link to a third-party site, you are responsible for complying with that site's own terms.

Intellectual property

Program titles, descriptions, and images belong to the originating institution (park district, library, school district, etc.). ToolNeighbor indexes, edits, and translates public information; we will promptly remove or adjust any row on a rights holder's request.

Limitation of liability

ToolNeighbor makes no warranty about the operation, safety, cancellation, or refund of any listed program, and accepts no liability for such matters. Issues arising from any linked third-party service are that provider's responsibility.

Changes to these terms

When the terms change, the "last updated" date at the top is refreshed. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, with exclusive jurisdiction in Cook County courts.
